JA BizTown buzzes with excitement as 5th and 6th graders are citizens in their very own town. They act as producers and consumers as they experience the circular flow of goods, services and resources within this interactive city. To prepare for this learning lab, students begin with four to six weeks of classroom study followed by a visit to JA BizTown.

Hands-On Learning Helps Kids Achieve
Our In-School Programs include hands-on, sequential learning for students in grades k-12. Volunteers from the business community are trained by the JA staff before they make weekly visits to local classrooms to share their professional knowledge and lead interactive activities, all while teaching sound economic principles and reinforcing class curricula.
Budgeting Can Be Fun!
JA Finance Park is an interactive program for middle and high school students, facilitating personal financial responsibility. This hands-on experience acquaints students with basic financial planning concepts and gives them an opportunity to apply their understanding in a simulated "life scenario". To prepare for this learning lab, students begin with four to six weeks of classroom study followed by a virtual simulation experience.
