Delivery and Supply Overview

FedEx sells business forms and supplies to all businesses in JA BizTown. They also handle all delivery of letters and packages to businesses and citizens. Just like a real delivery service we provide postage stamps and retail products.

CEO

As CEO of FedEx, I visit the bank for our loan and order business advertising. I answer questions for visitors, make product pricing decisions, and in my speech at the Morning Town Meeting I tell everyone about our business and the products we sell. My job stays very busy most of the day and I fill in for and help all my employees when they need help or are out on a break.

CFO

I spend my day working on a computer, processing payroll checks for all FedEx employees. There is always A LOT of paperwork on my desk so I have to be organized as I pay all the bills for our business. I am also responsible for depositing our business income, from the sale of supplies to businesses and products to citizens, in the bank.

Delivery Agent

I am responsible for collecting letters and packages deposited in the FedEx box and then sorting them, cancelling the postage stamps, and delivering to the correct business in JA BizTown. When letters are addressed wrong or the address is incomplete, I return the letter to the sender. Comfortable shoes are important in my job because I spend most of the day walking around the town!

Supply Manager

I am responsible for filling the supply orders for each business in JA BizTown, so I have become familiar with all the inventory on our supply shelves. As business representatives come to us to pick up supplies, I collect their check for $5.00. I visit each business during the day to pick up empty supply bins so that they can be prepared for the next day’s business.

Sales Manager

I am responsible for assisting businesses with their supply request as well as helping our citizens when they visit us for personal shopping items. I remind customers where they can mail their friendly letters and also learn how to operate the Point of Sale computer. I am responsible for collecting payments and entering retail sales into the computer.
