JA MultiMedia Overview
If you like to work on web pages, then this is the place for you. We create personal web pages for JA BizTown citizens we also design web pages for town businesses. Stop by for several fun photo opportunities as well.
CEO
As the CEO, I am responsible for all of the business operations. My job includes authorizing the rental agreement, signing employee and business checks, and taking the business loan to the bank. My job stays pretty busy throughout the day. I work with the sales manager to determine the prices of our products, and I also give a speech at the Town Meeting.
CFO
As second in command, I spend most of my time working on a computer to help process the payroll checks for employees. I pay all of the business expenses and make deposits to the bank. I am very busy throughout the day and have A LOT of paper work on my desk. It is important for me to be organized.
Ad Executive
I am out in the town quite a bit during the day. I collect the business web page ads from each business and review each ad for accuracy. Later, I revisit the businesses to collect payment for the ads and deliver receipts with the web address for later viewing at home or school. I also assist the sales manager with customers during breaks.
Sales Manager
I purchase the supplies for our business and work with the CEO to determine our prices. I manage the inventory of our products to help make sure all JA BizTown citizens have an opportunity to purchase them. I operate the photo equipment and the computer while I assist customers.
Web Designer
I work on the computer while I help design business and personal web pages. I also proofread each page for accuracy. I print receipts with the URL address and give them to the Ad Executive to share with our customers for later viewing at home or school.
Freelance Videographer
I document all of the activities during our JA BizTown visit. I only work when there are 120 students in the town, so sometimes this position is not available. If I am needed, however, I have to bring my own videotaping equipment.
